Now offering new G.FAST with speeds up to 330Mb down and 50Mb up. You can think of G.Fast as a superfast FTTC as it’s delivered over your existing copper lines. Availability requires FTTC to be available to the cabinet, as it makes use of the existing fibre delivery. In addition, a short physical line to the cabinet (maximum line length being 250 meters currently) is required. FTTC availability alone doesn’t mean you can now receive G.Fast, but Openreach intend to increase coverage significantly over the next 12 months.
